Shiloah Kviatkovsky, Ph.D, CISSN

Shiloah Kviatkovsky Shiloah Kviatkovsky, Ph.D, CISSN, is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UAMS and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Department of Physiology and Cell Biology.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Master of Science degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from San Diego State University.  As a researcher for the United States Navy after graduate school, she worked with military special operations to help improve warfighter performance and health. She also worked with blast exposure and brain injury, exposing her to elements of cognitive and psychological assessments and science. Dr. Kviatkovsky then completed her Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University. Her dissertation research examined the impact of collagen peptide supplementation on pain, physical function, and connective tissue remodeling.

Research Focus:

My research focuses on nutritional interventions for connective tissue health, with an emphasis on collagen supplementation for enhancing recovery from injury and orthopaedic surgery.
