UAMS Orthopaedics Welcomes New Fellow

Apple, a native of Voorhees, New Jersey, obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 2010, followed by a graduate degree in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown School of Medicine in 2011. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Tulane University, where he received the William Sherman Award for Most Outstanding 2nd year resident.  His research includes “Dual Diagnosis” as a Risk Factor for Complications in Total Joint Arthroplasty and Predictors of Lateral Release in Total Knee Arthroplasty for Valgus Deformity.  He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
