Join Us for the 41st Annual Arkansas Orthopaedic Forum!

Guest faculty and UAMS experts will bring you relevant, informative perspectives on evolving concepts and techniques in orthopedic trauma.  Distinguished visiting professor Raymond D. Wright, Jr., M.D., will present his experience, techniques, and pearls of wisdom regarding current treatments and procedures. The event features a packed lineup of innovative presentations, including the 17th Annual Panel of Experts and Case Discussions. Fourth-year residents in the UAMS Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will contend for the top score as they share their innovative research projects in the James Aronson, M.D. Resident Research Competition.

In-person attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Q & A sessions and visit exhibitors during scheduled breaks. Lunch will be provided. We look forward to welcoming you to the 41st Annual Arkansas Orthopaedic Forum in September!

Raymond D. Wright, Jr., M.D. is a professor of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. His residency education was completed at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Wright also completed advanced clinical education in orthopaedic traumatology at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

He is the founding Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Fellowship Director at the University of Kentucky Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Wright is an Associate Program Director for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at UK. His clinical practice interests include all aspects of orthopaedic trauma with a special focus on pelvic and acetabular fractures. Dr. Wright is a published author in his field with numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, podium presentations, and speaking engagements. He is an active educator for AO Trauma North America and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. He serves as a member of the AO Trauma North America Fellowship Committee.
