The UAMS Department of Orthopaedic Surgery currently offers two fellowship programs. Our goal is to provide fellows with the knowledge, clinical, and surgical skills in in their orthopaedic subspecialty training to successfully practice in the academic or community setting at the highest level of competence. Adult Reconstructive Fellowship

Adult Reconstructive Fellowship
This one-year Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to the clinical and research-related aspects of adult total joint reconstruction. As part of our program, you can expect to learn all aspects of diagnosis and treatment for problematic joints damaged by disease or previous arthroplasty — including the challenges of complex and revision arthroplasty.

Expertise in Spine Surgery

Integrated Spine Surgery Fellowship

Spine Surgery Fellowship
The one-year Integrated Spine Surgery Fellowship provides comprehensive training in all aspects of pediatric and adult spine surgery. Fellows will experience anterior, lateral, and posterior surgical approaches and robust exposure to the evaluation and management of degenerative, deformity, oncologic, infectious, and traumatic conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
