Thank you for your interest in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. All applicants must apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Paper applications will not be accepted.

The deadline for receipt of applications and all required documentation is October 15, 2019.
Required documents include:

•   ERAS Common application form with photograph and personal statement
•   3 professional letters of recommendation
•   Dean’s letter and official transcript
•   ECFMG Status Report for International applicants
•   USMLE score reports (USMLE Step 1, Step 2(CK), Step 2(CS) required  Scores of 230 and above for Steps 1 and 2 are preferred)

Deans letter and transcripts will be the only documentation accepted after the deadline.

Interview dates for the 2019-2020 academic year are November 19th, November 26th, and December 3th

Medical Students interested in a four-week clinical internship as a fourth year senior elective should contact the Dean of Student Affairs office at (501) 686-5348. All applicants will apply through VSAS (Visiting Student Application Service).
